Our Eye Care Professionals team includes owner and primary ophthalmologist, Dr. Matthew Mills and clinical optometrist, Dr. Leyla Mirbaha. Both of our eye doctors are committed to providing state-of-the-art eye care to our patients in northern Nevada and northern California.

DR. MILLS, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Mills is the owner and lead Ophthalmologist at Eye Care Professionals. He is a skilled eye surgeon specializing in LASIK, cataracts and glaucoma.

I consider that Eye Care Professionals are excellent in the field of eye care, and have and will continue to recommend Eye Care Professionals to others. However, calling and not being able to talk to a live person is a problem for me. When I called after finding my prescription was not in at my local drugstore, the message said that it was during normal operating hours but my phone call would be returned in the next 24 hours. My pharmacist called and got the same message. My prescription could not be handled that day and my call has not been returned as of 11:00 a.m. today. I had to call again to get it handled. I understand the office is busy, but surprised that it was too busy even for the pharmacist using the doctor/pharmacy extension.

I was so impressed at the routine everyone has in making sure you are COMFORTABLE in the procedures one has done. From the receptionist, to staff working on your eyes.
Thorough communication in the procedures to check out.
I immediately called my friends to make sure they go there. My friend in Winnemucca needs to have her eyes looked at & is so afraid. Called her after my appointment & told her of my time. She called today!
Can't wait to go back, even my Husband make an appointment yesterday as I was leaving.
